PARIS ONE.

I haven't been to Paris in around 20 years. It's a long awaited return visit and I'm glad I have a good 9 days to really soak it in. Paris has me smitten. She is an incredible city. So many different layers for you to peel back and discover. It's really vibrant, creative and fun. She juxtaposes history, art, modernism, beauty and grime so seamlessly. I find myself incredibly inspired. Again.
Main purpose of my trip? Business. Our favorite US tradeshow, Capsule Show, which shows in NYC and Vegas has recently started showing in Paris. So we are here to premier our Spring 2010 Collection; about a 2 months before it shows in the States! But in between setting up for the show, preparing our lookbooks last minute and dealing with printers in a foreign land, we were able to have an awesome time.

僕は約２０年ぶりにパリを訪れました。待ちに待った再会で、９日間の長い滞在でたくさんを吸収したいと思います。僕はパリに夢中です。彼女はすばらしい都市です。何枚もの層があり、一枚一枚剥くごとに新しい発見があります。活気にあふれ、クリエーティブで楽しい。歴史、アート、モダニズム、美と汚れが並置されている都市。とんでもなくインスパイアされます。繰り返しますが、この旅の目的は？ビジネス。ニューヨークとラスベガスで開かれている、僕達の大好きなアメリカのトレードショー、Capsule Showは最近パリでも開催しています。という事で、アメリカより２ヶ月早く、僕達の２０１０年春コレクションを初披露するためにやってきました！ショーの準備やギリギリまでのルックブックの編集と外国での印刷業者とのやり取りの合間に、僕達はとても楽しい時間を過ごしました。

The only problem with Paris is that there is so much to see and do that I hardly get enough face time with the bed. Gettin' too old for this. たった一つの問題は、パリはあまりにもやる事や見るもが多いので、ベッドにいる時間が足りません。年取ったな〜。
