1-2-1 w/MARC ECKO.

I'm happy to release the second edition of my editorial piece for Urb Magazine called "1-2-1 with jeffstaple". Each issue, I will be speaking to someone, "one-to-one", on a topic that relates to the theme of the issue. This issue if "My Firsts..." and I decided to sit down with Marc Ecko and talk his early lessons learned.
Dorothy Hong took the photos and Joey Angerone handled the A/V. Enjoy!

The making of...メイキング。。。

Good interview, I really appreciate the Ecko brand and what it has done for the culture, its longevity and innovation. I seen recently that Ecko designed the jackets for the Iron Chef of America competition which is crazy, I'm like how did that happen? Overall just a dope brand that will be around for a while one way or another.

nice interview...Marc is an icon and his path should be studied as a blueprint. Keep up the good work, Jeff...

Whats really funny to me is that I used to manage a store that stocked both of your brands.....STPL and ECKO...the store, humorously enough was based out of metro detroit and was one of the first dozen or so Ecko accounts out side of the northeast.

I still have that shirt (the ECHO) that was shown in the video, as well as ECKO's first attempt at cargo pants (so funny). I think I might wear them with my OG STPL thought police sweater.....funny times....great interview

AZ

p.s. you love hiring ex fader staff...joe and dorthy...they both do excellent work.
