CRAFTY iPHONE STAND.

3G iPhone? Awesome.
Movies on the 3G iPhone? Awesome.
Holding the 3G iPhone for 2 hours while watching a movie? Not so awesome.
So my co-worker Jerry got crafty and made this dope little iPhone stand...Out of a binder clip! This is great because i can just leave it in my bag and bring it with me everywhere I go.
I know there are 3rd party companies that make stands for the iPhone, but they're all ugly as sin and bulky. This is classy, simple and costs about $.02!
That's why Jerry gets Employee of the Month!
3GiPhone?

What case is on the phone? I like the look of that.

I think he just bent one of the wires to act like a base. More pics please!

I've just built my stand!

Nice! Good thing you have a case though, or the alligator could scratch up the iPhone's backside.

@brian arnold: Looks like an Incase Slider

Yep. Just bent the clip on the bottom. Works like a charm.

I'm building mine right now!

FAIL!

It ain't crafty if it doesn't adequately explain how to make one.

You can get the authentic version of this in Apple White for about $30 US from the istore right?

Binder clips make the best frugal money clips. For me, Mr. Parsimonious to my friends, I use the smallest binder clip, and I roll my money as tight as possible before clipping it. There is no better feeling than a tight wad of cash securely bound (by a binder clip).

Works better by using your esc and F1-F4 keys on your keyboard and your monitor to prop the back. Can get work done and still see the show or movie.

This thing BLOWS.

Its great for the long plane rides.
You need some needle nose pliers for it to be able to bend the metal.
But definitely do it with a case on as someone said...so the back of your phone doesn't get scratched up.
